Tailored for two-component polyurethane coatings, Easy-Clean SX utilizes a modified inorganic cross-linking formula, strengthening the polyurethane polymer's resilience. It's devoid of TeflonĀ® or similar fluoro-carbon compounds and known carcinogens.
Its benefits include enhancing water and oil repellence, improving anti-block properties in curing and cured coatings, and exhibiting low dirt pick-up and oleo/hydro-phobicity for better weathering and chemical resistance. The co-reactive nature ensures enduring effectiveness.
Packaged conveniently, a single 500 ml container of Easy-Clean SX treats a 5-litre pack of Multi-Gard GP 48AU and select CarbothaneĀ® products.
Under specific circumstances, it can enhance surface wet-out, adhesion, and levelling characteristics of the treated coating. However, a crucial limitation is that the treated polyurethane coating should be thoroughly sanded before repainting or top-coating due to the slip and anti-mar properties imparted.
Moreover, when incorporated into a color coat/clear coat anti-graffiti system, it's recommended to use Easy~Clean SX solely in the final Clear Coat.
