3M Roloc Disc Pad (Shaft sold separately)

Backup pad for 3MTM Roloc 2 & 3 inch diameter abrasive discs. This pad includes a 1/4-20 INT thread, allowing it to be directly mounted to tools with 1/4-20 EXT threaded shafts or used with a Roloc shank to fit collet chuck tools.

The level of hardness required depends on the task—choose a higher density for more aggressive applications and a lower, more flexible density for less aggressive applications—as well as the user's work style. These disc pads were created by 3M to be used with any drill, disc sander, right angle grinder, or rotary sander. Max RPM is regulated by the size and stiffness of the disc and disc pad.
