Allnex Polyplex Flexible WXD Casting Resin is a pre-promoted, low-reactivity unsaturated polyester resin designed for filled castings and reinforcing thermoformed acrylic mouldings.
It offers an excellent balance of flexibility, toughness, and impact resistance, making it ideal for parts that need some give compared to standard rigid casting resins.
Its low reactivity allows for controlled curing with minimal exotherm and shrinkage, even in thicker sections.
The resin cures at room temperature using a suitable MEKP catalyst and performs well with fillers, maintaining dimensional stability and strong adhesion to surrounding materials.
