Derakane Momentum Resin 470-300 - 20L

Derakane Momentum 470-300 is a novolac-based epoxy vinyl ester resin engineered for outstanding mechanical performance in high-temperature and highly corrosive environments.

It delivers excellent resistance to solvents, chemicals, and acidic oxidising media, while maintaining strength and toughness even at elevated temperatures. The Momentum series represents the latest generation of Derakane resins, offering improved fabrication efficiency and product quality through a lighter natural colour making defects easier to detect during lay-up—and enhanced storage stability for greater handling flexibility.

470-300 is commonly used in demanding applications such as high-temperature chlorination systems, caustic scrubbing equipment, industrial waste treatment, and solvent-extraction processes in mining.

It is also suitable for hydrochloric acid transport systems, tank and railcar linings, and gasohol storage. The resin is compatible with all major FRP manufacturing methods, including hand lay-up, spray-up, pultrusion, and resin transfer moulding (RTM).
